Owners were lovely and friendly and the Motel was clean and well kept. Price was perfect, kitchenette had all that was needed to cook a lovely breakfast. Shower had great pressure, Wifi vouchers were provided free which was handy as for some reason I had very limited service on my phone from inside the room. Location to town was not quite walking distance but was perfect for my requirements. Would definitely stay again if in that area.
We stayed for four nights to attend a birthday function and had other family members and friends stay there as well. It was convenient to where we needed to be and was in a nice quiet location. Although an older type of Motel we found the rooms to be spotless and well maintained. Towels were changed daily and the staff were very friendly. A newspaper is available daily on request and breakfast can be ordered the night before. Limited free WiFi of 200MB/day but you can obtain extra vouchers on request. A laundry is available and the Motel has a pool. Only complaint was that the bed was too soft and sunk in the middle so is in need of replacing. Would also like heat pumps on the walls rather than smaller mobile heaters, although we found they heated up the room fairly quickly. We would definitely stay there again and found the pricing to be reasonable.
We stayed here for one night recently. The room was clean and tidy and the area was very quiet. We decided to have breakfast in our room and it was plentiful and served at the time requested. The staff were friendly and helpful especially with recommending local eateries. This is a good clean motel in a small country town. I would definitely stay here again when passing through.
Very pleasant reception and intro to our spacious room, two adults and 3 teenagers.
Very clean but did smell musty. Every thing that we needed was available with extra towels, blankets and pillows. Shower water pressure was poor, Double bed was not great and 'roll together' was evident during the night!
Would certainly stay again and was well priced and situated in quiet street.
Our room we could here people next door and vehicles arriving late at night. Bed was very soft and in our opinion in need of replacing. Inexpensive place to stay for one night.We decided to drive in to Cambridge due to the rain. Laundry facilities were old but useful. No instructions for only a cold wash of laundry. Door locking system where you lock the door before you leave the room.Noisy fridge. Advertised as free wifi but after a short time to FaceTime our daughter in UK, it was her birthday, the wifi limit was reached and we were cut off. Consequently paid 10 NZD to rejoin network. We feel this should be refunded. Reception empty when we left.
