We stayed in Glayva cottage for 2 nights this summer and wished we could have stayed longer. It's a really fantastic place - everything you could need from a holiday home, all beautifully clean, great decor, hot poweful showers & comfy bed, lovely & warm & cosy & fantastic views over the Loch. For us it was the highlight of our trip! The local pub is great fun and the owners Neil & Carol are super friendly & welcoming. My partner & I loved it & hope to return again sometime soon!
Cannot recommend it highly enough!

I would thoroughly recommend Glayva cottage to anyone wanting peaceful, extremely comfortable and well thought out accommodation in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. The village has lots of places to eat and also has a useful Spa shop. There are lots of places to visit relatively close by. One day it rained heavily and this was a good excuse to stay in, light the fire and play a few board games (provided).

“Wish I was there now!!”

Glayva cottage has to be one of the best holiday homes I have ever stayed in. The cottage is great - clean, well equipped and modern with just the right amount of character including a log burner.
The views from the windows over the loch are stunning and the village is well served with shops, cafés and a pub/restaurant.
If you like walking there are lots of stunning walks in the immediate area or you can take the car off the beaten track and find yourself in wilderness.
If you feel brave you can drive over the A896 to Applecross for lunch. Well worth it!!!!
Overall, lots and lots to see and do.
Tip......try the Torridon smoked salmon. Smoked salmon but not as we know it.

This is the third year that we have stayed at Glayva cottage, it is so well situated with fab views from every room. You can even shower with a view.

The facilities are great with lots of nice touches and loved the large fluffy white bath towels.

We have just booked again for May 2015.

we just had a fantastic few days at Lochcarron, staying in Glayva Cottage.
The cottage was superbly presented and themed, and was immaculate with everything you could wish for and more - it had the feel that someone really cares.
It couldn't have been better situated and the view out of the window was gorgeous.
Many thanks for taking away one of everybody's main holiday concerns - the accommodation
