I stayed at Rose Cottage the weekend of our wedding at Orange Tree House. The cottage is stunning, every last detail is perfect and cosy.
On the morning of the wedding I had a hair stylist, make up artist, two sisters in law, 4 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, one mother and father, one brother, a florist, and two wedding photographers in the cottage and it still felt spacious yet quaint. (plus our best friends rented Lavender cottage next door so they were in and out.)
Every bride considering Orange Tree House should definitely book here, it made the start of the day magical and relaxed.
Janet could not have done more for us, everything was catered for and I knew if I needed anything I could get in touch.
My husband and I stayed the night of the wedding and it was the perfect place to start our married life, just the two of us.
Will definitely be back!! Rose Cottage holds a very special place in our hearts, forever.
Rose Cottage is a beautifully decorated very quaint, pretty, little Irish cottage with a bright red door set right across the road from the stunning and magestic ancient Greyabbey ruins. The owner Janet manages the cottage really considerately she thinks about everything and leaves you alone to your own privacy but is there if you need her, she is a real gem, such a lovely person and her husband Ken too. There was even a lovely bottle of Chilean red wine with some really nice cheeses and chutneys on arrival, which I have never had done before for us, such a lovely touch! Everything was very comfortable and the kitchen well supplied with dishwasher and washer/dryer. We had such a lovely month staying here in Rose Cottage I cannot speak highly enough about it! Even the Wifi was fantastic and the heating was all great too! And there is a little handy shop with all the necessary things you might need, bread milk etc! Thank you Janet and Ken for such a lovely stay! Xx
