Superb!!! Only word to say really!!

We are thrilled that we can now look forward to lunch/supper/ drinks at the swan again, it’s been a while BUT so far between us as a family we have had nothing but a fantastic experience over the last couple of months. Sooooooo well looked after along with delicious food and wine!

You would be mad not to give it a try!!

Thank you to The Swan Family for bringing our local back to life!

We all look forward to another family lunch and we really do love that top table in the bar!!!

See you soon

Gary my friend stayed over as I booked it for him - he was kindly bring some items from the north to Sussex for me.
The room was pleasant, small but very clean and tidy. WiFi was available.
Was a lot of money for what it was but location worked well.
There is some work happening in some rooms but it’s a beautiful place.

Good parking, safe and stunning location.

Very clean.

Gary said that the evening manager and Megan were very kind and assets to the company.

The Swan Inn is a traditional old country pub in the centre of Lower Fittleworth. It has a large garden and rooms. Inside there are beamed ceilings, stone floors and a renowned restaurant. The staff and locals are very welcoming and are happy to chat with tourists. Dogs are allowed in the bar.
Our four poster cottage room was in the nicely converted stable block. It was en-suite, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a quiet nights sleep. Breakfast is 'continental' but bacon and sausage sandwiches are also available making it more substantial.
Our only disappointment was that although we reserved a restaurant table over a month previous, the restaurant was full and we were sat in the bar, adjacent to the entrance door. Not good. Apart from that we very much enjoyed The Swan and would return provided thatrestaurant seating is guaranteed.

We are delighted that the village has embraced its pub again; it is lovely to have the support of the community.. Everyone seems to be enjoying the menu featuring food from our (very) local suppliers as well as ales brewed in the South Downs & Sussex.

We had heard excellent things about The Swan and its new owners and were not disappointed. Our party of four enjoyed the very varied menu (particularly the scrummy chicken and leek pie) and we all agreed it was all utterly delicious. We were very well looked after by the Fiona and Trewan and will definitely be back very soon!
