“Excellent, Fabulous, Perfect in all ways”
Reviewed 11 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We planned a week away with all of the family and looked for a suitable place to accommodate 8 of us plus an infant in the Yorkshire Dales area that we love. We have stayed in many places in the area and looked at the bigger companies to find what we wanted. However our youngest daughter found this place and we could not believe how good it was and promptly booked it up for Easter this year. The booking arrangements went very smoothly and Shula was able to provide any of the larger items for the baby that we needed. We had never travelled in such a large group before and we were concerned about getting all the luggage into the cars plus the food. However, we were pleased to know that several Supermarkets deliver in this area, so with our home Sainsbury account, we just added this as a new delivery address and pre ordered the food we wanted. All delivered on time after our planned arrival on Good Friday, perfect! Anyway, back to the House and the welcome that we received, it was just brilliant. A nice bottle of wine and a local cake awaited us which was delicious and was just a lovely extra to enhance the welcome and quality of the House. The House itself has been extremely well fitted out with high quality fittings and fixtures throughout and we could not fault anything. All the beds, bedding, towels etc were extremely clean and the 5* Gold Award for this House is well deserved. When we come back to the Dales, we will certainly come back here and will be recommending it to our friends whom also stay in this area for holidays with extended families. Thank you Shula for a lovely week in our favourite area of the UK

“Excellent accommodation with stunning views and warm cosy ambience”
Reviewed 10 February 2015 for a stay in January 2015

This was our first stay at Warth House and it exceeded all our expectations. The house has been tastefully furbished with quality fixtures and fittings, and the layout provides a feeling of togetherness even when its your turn to cook, whilst providing privacy when needed. The photos on the website don't do it justice!

Our game for our stay became 'find a fault' - happily, we failed miserbly!

The house had everything we needed to create a range of home cooked meals, reading and entertainment, and the fire was the icing on the cake! We were hoping to get snowed in but were forced to go out and enjoy the brilliant sunshine, blue skies, snow and ice and stunning walks around the falls and Ingleborough.

Warth House makes the perfect warm and cosy base for a brilliant walking weekend with friends and we will definitely return.

“Fabulous luxurious accommodation in an ideal location”
Reviewed 15 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Just stayed for the New Year with some friends at Warth House which was amazing. The interior is completed to a very high standard with every possible thing you could want catered for. The correspondence from booking to leaving was also excellent. The family left us a lovely cake, bottle of wine and a bottle of non alcoholic wine as a welcome gift which was much appreciated. The area is very quiet but within walking distance of pubs, restaurants etc. There are lovely countryside views from all windows. The house itself is large and was kept lovely and warm whilst we were there with plenty of coal and logs for the gorgeous real fire. An added bonus was the underfloor heating!! There is a large dining table which was ideal for us all to sit around and have our New Years Day lunch. Also in the cupboard under the stairs is a large selection of games for all ages, plus DVD's and CD's. I can not recommend this accommodation enough - we have stayed at many over the years but this is certainly one of the best!

“Wonderful Warth House at Christmas Time”
Reviewed 12 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Shula and Andrew provided a warm welcome and answered any questions that we had prior and during our stay at Warth House. Extremely well renovated, warm & cosy, very well equipped, the house really lived up to it's 5* reputation. We stayed in the house over Christmas so important to have enough space and kitchen equipment to cook for a large group. We were not disappointed.
We'd love to come and stay again - maybe Summer 2015.
Thanks Andrew and Shula.

“Outstanding place to stay - didn't want to leave!”
Reviewed 27 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We have just returned having spent a fantastic week at Warth House. The property is fairly new and finished to an exceptionally high standard. There is great use of space and the place includes everything you could possibly want/need. The board games and dvd's were very well received and the WiFi was well used too. The kitchen and utility room include all appliances you could possible wish for, bedrooms have super en-suites (apart from the twin, but the family bathroom is right next door and includes a super roll top bath) and hairdryers, and the garden is massive, with a gravelled patio which is a real sun-trap. Fun was had on the trampoline too!

We were lucky to have a really fine and hot week for our stay (apart from the Saturday, when we took part in the Three Peaks Challenge and when it rained all day making the going very tough). There is plenty to see in the area but we didn't venture very far as we were content to stay in Warth House after that challenge, chilling and relaxing in this wonderful place. The views from the windows are stunning and in the field right next to the house you can watch the bull with his 'ladies' and several calves.

I thouroughly recommend this place. None of us wanted to come home. We would happily visit again - the only thing that puts us off is the long journey from our home in South Wales!

Thank you to Shula and Andrew (and Ernest and Margaret) for making us so welcome.
