“Clean, cosy & well planned in a lovely location”

We booked a late break and were not disappointed. Great value for a 1st rate cottage. It was incredibly well kept and the photos don't do the living/dining/kitchen room justice, plenty of space for a couple. And oh my, that bed! Massive - a great nights sleep was had every night. There is a cute little yard at the back that you partly share with neighbouring cottage. And the cottage was constantly cosy warm with the addition of underfloor heating downstairs.

The location is spot on, at the top of the village, very easy parking on the road but we were also able to use the parking spot allocated at the back of the cottages. The local Italian restaurant, 3 pubs and Co-op were moments away so there is every amenity needed for an evenings stroll/dining around the village.

If you need a local butchers then they can be found down at the Country Harvest on the A65 northbound, but the local sandwich shop Hazel's make fresh bread daily in the village. If you want to try the local Italian do get there early as it only has about 5 tables and is open 6-9:30pm I think in the winter - lovely, simple and tasty dishes.

We did a lot of walks and Ingleton has enough of them locally to mean you don't have to be in and out of the car all the time, which was nice (thank you to the owners for providing a great local walks booklet). The location of the village is also great as there is an easy route in off a major A road, so no faffing about with windy little country lanes to get to the destination.

Very pleasant stay indeed, thank you to the owners for making it so!
