The hotel itself is an experience, perfect location in the old town. The hotel is very stylish with a number of themed rooms. The room had everything you could want, air conditioning, toiletries, travel tooth brush, make up wipes etc. They even provide you with a phone you can use to call people on or use 4G for Google maps to take out with you (never had this before anywhere else, brilliant idea). They really do think of everything you can think of to the extent of a button to press to play music in the shower room.
We even had a welcome bottle of wine left in the room along with fruit and bottled water along with the teas and coffees. I would say this hotel goes above and beyond and really try to make your stay an experience.

No doubt the stay is made extra special by Vagelis who makes you feel you have gained another friend as soon as you arrive, nothing seemed to much effort for him. A genuinely nice and funny person who is clearly very proud of the Hotel.

They don't have a bar so we took out complimentary wine to the little court yard which like everything else was immaculate with candle out, very atmospheric and pretty.

We had breakfast in the same courtyard the next morning and as you would expect from Vagelis it was lovely. I won't go into detail but you will not be dissapointed, felt like a banquet of treats.

Thank you Vagelis for a wonder stay and breakfast. Hopefully you get to visit Wales soon.

Thanks, Luke and Rhiannon.

If the words quirky, different, unexpected appeal to you then this hotel will suit you. The reception is up a steep flight of stairs from the street and there is no lift. It has 7 rooms and they are all decorated differently. Ranging from medieval, through
oriental to greek. We had the Bosporus Suite which is up a flight of stairs and not handy if you walk with some difficulty. The furnishings were antique and in poor state. The couch cushions were ripped but overall the room was comfortable and the bed was excellent. There are four rooms on the ground floor and 3 upstairs. If in doubt ask
the manager Vagelis Lamprou. He is absolutely a gem. The guests change every couple of days but he knows every ones names and it feel like staying with a family.
The hotel has no bar, no actual lounge although there is a sitting area by the reception, and no pool. There is no actual garden just a small terrace with potted plants. The only room with a private balcony is the Grand Master suite, also
upstairs. The hotel is situated about 100yds from the clock tower in the old city. The
clock chime loudly every hour and every half hour. Don't worry to much though, it
stops at 11pm and starts up again at 8am!! Location right in the center is ideal.
Plenty of really good restaurants within 10 mins slow walk. If there are any Scots
vegetarians reading this you need to go to the To Marouli. Food is excellent and varied
and one of the staff is Scots, so she'll make you feel right at home. Nearly forgot,
the hotel provides a free mobile phone with all the numbers emergency numbers you may need pre programmed and calls to Europe are free together with internet. You
take it with you when you go out. Really easy. Hope you like stray cats. The old city
is full of them.

Room Tip: Before booking ask the location of the room. Only 4 rooms without climbing stairs.

If you enjoy exotic boutique hotels then you will love it here. Surrounded by history and around the corner from the Street of the Knights this beautifully decorated hotel fitted in well with the ambience of the location in Old Town. Very romantic at night walking up the Street of the Knights with its glowing lamps and entering the hotel courtyard filled with lit candles. A lovely breakfast in a pleasant courtyard served by the very helpful and pleasant Angelo. Despite the amount of tourists in this area, it was very quiet at all times

Very nice and small hotel next to the Palace of the Grandmasters. We had a very pleasant room with stunning views over the harbour to one side, the ruins of St. John and the Palace to the other. The room itself was cosy and with a spotless bathroom. The most luxurious roof terrace with a jacuzzi just added to the ambience. Most amazing, though, was Vangelis, the charismatic and friendly manager of the hotel. Highly recommendable.

I am delighted by the timeless time-travel aspect of this hotel. I fully expect to encounter a young Mick Jagger in front of the fireplace. The manager, Vassileos/Angelo is so helpful and joyful that you suspect he is from another dimension. The location is very close to the main motor gate to the old town. You have a view of the water and the most wonderful breakfast you could ask for.
