It's a decent restaurant in a location that's been growing in popularity, which means you might want to book in advance or risk waiting for quite some time. The food is great - traditional portuguese cuisine and amazingly fresh fish - and the prices are right. It's definitely a much better option than the other restaurants by the beach.

Great restaurant, good food, lovely service. Deceiving restaurant from the outside but well worth a visit. Had amazing fresh fish, accompanied by specialities of the house. Eat here!

Huge treat having lunch at this restaurant. The manger/server spoke excellent English and served us fantastic food. We have fish and meat, both were great. The wine list is large and cheap. We will return here. We took the ferry boat ride from across the river and enjoyed the day.... Will return and soon....

We ate here tonight with a family group. On arrival the owner TRANSLATED the entire menu into English for us. They gave us various recommendations, all of which were excellent. We were offered various local dishes to start. The main dishes were excellent and the wine, one of three suggested by the owner matched the food perfectly. The food was excellent value and the host was friendly, attentive and helpful. Have already booked our next meal there before we return home.
