We had a lovely stay at the Kamahi cottage after visiting the glowworm waitomo caves. The cottage easily accommodated the 4 of us. We enjoyed a delightful evening with the hosts enjoying a fabulous dinner. We were serenaded at the conclusion of our meal with bagpipes as we walked to our cottage. The flowers and views were amazing on the property. I would highly recommend!

Thanks so much, Kathy. The bagpiper is an optional extra, but he does seem to earn his keep! So glad you enjoyed your stay.

An amazingly beautiful cottage . Kamahi cottage is a one only cottage that is owned by the Cowan family . It’s truly 5 star and I must say that the views from the cottage is gorgeous . Elisabeth and Evan are fantastic hosts. Breakfast is truly gourmet and all personally cooked by Elisabeth . I would recommend to have dinner cooked by Elisabeth. She is really a good cook.
Nice place close enough to waitomo caves. And worth to drive around to see the beautiful scenery .

So glad you enjoyed our wee place and took the time to see some of the beautiful and lesser known visitor attractions near us. It was a pleasure to have you all here.

Had the most wonderful stay and wish we had booked longer. It is so worth the drive.
Perfectly appointed cottage, thoughtful additions, delicious breakfast and Liz is the perfect host.....
And the view is one of New Zealand’s finest. Put it on your list.

Wonderful experience, Liz and Evan were exceptional hosts. Dinner was served in our cottage by Liz and we relaxed in the swings relaxing listen to the peacefulness, just a magical place. We would highly recommend at least one night here.

What we really want to say is "Thank You Liz and Evan" for sharing your private piece of Paradise with us! The Cottage is a separate build from Liz and Evan's home. It is everything you need for your stay and it can be as private as you want or Liz and Evan are fantastic people (great hosts too). We only stayed for a single night but will be back!
