The hotel is very convenient if you are travelling on the Ffestiniog or Highland Railways which are two minutes walk away and this was our primary reason to stay. The Premier Plus rooms (my choice) face the railway and sea and have good views to watch and photograph the continuous activity at the station.
The room had the usual very comfortable Premier Inn bed, coffee machine and kettle but the advertised bottled water was not provided. There is a good bathroom with rain shower.
During our stay, the WiFi was upgraded and was generally reliable and fast. After the upgrade, there were a significant number of additional (mostly Freeview) channels provided on the TV.
The advertised electric charging points for cars have been removed so this facility is not offered.
The restaurant food was good. At breakfast, hot items were replaced regularly so everything always felt fresh. It is worth booking a table for both breakfast and dinner and you may have a significant wait without a reservation.
If visiting the railway again, I would definitely return.
