Great place to visit if you are into chocolate! They have a wide range of unique Alzorian flavours. The staff are Very helpful and friendly and will take the time to explain everything that is on offer. The prices are Very reasonable!... If you have the time, you should try their hot chocolates and/or try their homemade desserts!!

This was a find in RIbeira Grande - small shop and cafe specializing in chocolate. They sell chunks of chocolate (light or dark) on sticks that you can melt into hot milk for hot chocolate. They also have an array of truffles, many infused with local flavors like pineapple, passionfruit, pepper, green tea... good quality chocolate, and excellent for bringing a taste of the Azores back home (they have small gift boxes as well).

Our lodging hosts recommended this shop and it did not disappoint. Great selection of chocolates and other sweets, as well as a gelato bar. We got the walnut gelato and it was super creamy - probably the best I've ever had.
