We stayed on Sao Miguel island for 7 days and went to Tukatula Bar several times! It's a great spot to sit outside for a beer, snack and ocean side view and wave/surfer watching experience. Also the walk on this beach was a fantastic experience. The food was incredible (my personal favourite was the grilled Tuna steak burger). The owner and staff are super friendly (providing good input on other places to visit), and the prices were one of the best for the value that we found on the island. We will absolutely go back and highly recommend this place. You'll be back for a second visit for sure!

We stayed several times at Tukatula bar. Sometimes just for a beer, or a snack or for dinner.
We always had a good time and the food is really good as the fish comes freshly out of the ocean. The dishes are all prepared with love and for a reasonable price. Drinks are also recommended!

Great location, my husband ordered various items on the menu all were excellent and served with a smile overlooking the sunset ...but the clams with garlic and cilantro were outstanding !
