We stayed several weeks in Franco's wonderful Casa Giardino. Unlike many one bedroom apartments, there is plenty of room to move here. The bedroom is large, the living room is truly separate from the kitchen (many others we have stayed in has one room that serves as both with a couch at one side and a kitchen table at the other) with a door so if friends are using the sofa bed they can have privacy. It is at the back of the apartment complex which makes it quiet and private. We were there off season in March-April so the pool was not yet open and the place really quiet, which we loved. There is a laundry facility on site (free), covered parking, and it is spitting distance from the village. It is on a very steep hill so if you bring your bikes as we did, getting back up to it is interesting! There are also a lot of steps to Casa Giardino, so not good for those with poorer mobility, but Franco does have one or two other apartments at lower levels which could suit the stair-challenged. The apartment has heating and AC , heated towel rail, shower (not big but fine). Franco was very helpful with the booking and really responsive, answering questions, providing directions and getting one or two more things to make the apartment comfortable.
