I have made this part of my morning walk rout. It is wonderful to be able to walk up or down depending which way I go. The view is to die for and the whole area is peaceful. Full of history if you really take time to look around.

Well worth a visit, if its sunny even better, the views from here are excellent, dont forget your camera. Also a nice cafe, for snacks tea coffee, small play area for the kids, and toilet facilities.

Really a wonderful place to take in the views of Arona and Lake Maggiore as well as take in some history. No better place to sit on a beautiful day anywhere in Arona other than the possibly the "Speakeasy" enjoying one of their many specialty drinks!

We had walked to the Rocca from the Hotel San Carlo, and would have enjoyed our visit so much more if the heavens had not opened moments after we arrived! We managed to shelter for a while by having coffee in the Bar, and when the rain eased off we did walk around the grounds. So we could see that in good weather this would be a stunning place - we'll have to return in more clement weather!

Lovely spot to see all around Lake Maggiore.

Cafe is a nice place to spend some quiet time away from Arona crowds.
