Warm and unique guesthouse that accomodated us during our vacation visit in Syros.
Mrs Lila and Mr Dimitris made us feel like home and their kindness and professionalism is worth mentioning.
The room was clean and the service during our stay was always present.
Thank you very much for your hospitality and we hope to see you (and Klo-Klo the cat) again in the future.

From the moment my family arrived on the beautiful island of Syros, Lila and her husband, Dimitri, treated us extremely well. Always helpful with advice and breakfast in the morning. The unit was clean and accommodated my family of 5 fine. Air conditioner worked very well. Shower had great pressure which is difficult to find in Greece. Location was quick walk to port, the beautiful city center and many great restaurants and bars. We highly recommend.

When arriving by boat at around midnight it really takes 5 minutes to arrive to Lila’s guesthouse. Lila was there waiting for me offered me something to drink (a beer), but I opted for some water, a quick shower and a good nights’ sleep. The room has everything one needs for a stay in this lovely island that I will surely revisit. The high ceiling was nicely converted to accommodate a loft and double bed. It is equipped with a bathroom, a kitchenette and also an ironing board (absolutely needed one). Had the time to talk to Lila and have her show me the process she and her husband went through renovating the building. Lila elegantly converted the place while keeping to the original structure. I will surely recommend this place to anyone visiting Syros. Lila and her husband will make you feel at home.

An amazing and cozy place to stay in lovely Syros. Lila and Dimitris were both welcoming. The perfect location, only 3min away from Miaouli square and 10 min walk from vaporia beach. Refurbished, high ceilings and cozy province style rooms.
Will definitely go back. Till next time...au revoir

We arrived on the ferry from Samos on our last stop before Athens. The charming Lila came and picked us up from the port (thank goodness) as dragging suitcases up long flight of stairs to property would not have been fun in the hot sun.
Anyway Lila Guesthouse I would say is a charming solidly built stone building which was originally the French Embassy but now “boutique
Accomodation”
We had room on street level next to reception/breakfast/bar/lounge area
Our room was just gorgeous - traditional but with slight modern touches - very large room and large bathroom. Super comfortable bed, and although on street level it was extremely quiet but very close walking distance to Miaouli Squ and probably 1/2 Klm from Harbour and perhaps 5 klm to Ano Syro.
Ideally located to all attractions, restaurants that Ermoupoli has to offer.
Guesthouse hosts very lovely, ever so helpful and Dimitri was great in providing breakfast each morning (no matter what time we decided to get up) and great coffee - we preferred to sit in bench in street and watch the activity.
Very nice accomodation and would not hesitate in recommending a stay there
Also when time to leave - again we were transported to the harbour-
A big warm thank you for making our stay in Syros so memorable.
