This was our second family stay here. The location is fantastic on the beach with stunning views .Very spacious house beautifully decorated, with 2 large bedrooms with balconies facing the sea the other two bedrooms are downstairs one onto the pool and the other behind with a shared bathroom. The house is spacious lots of sunbathing areas, shaded and in the sun, the pool is a great size .We really enjoyed having lunch down by the beach under a big tree ,just watching the sea and the activities on the beach. The staff are very good,Pamela the cook made us some fabulous meals we went down with Nondo to see the fish come off the boats and bid for some fish and 5 hours later its cooked ready to eat!You do as much or as little as you want, thats the magic of this villa.Great holiday place for young families and older ones. There are no night clubs but there are bars nearby to have a drink before dinner, just wander along the beach. You can't fail to enjoy your stay ,many thanks to all the staff who are friendly ,pleasant and do everything to make your stay idyllic.

“Amazing!”
Reviewed 10 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

What an absolutely lovely, amazing place. We loved our stay at Villa Loiki, the pictures on the site do not do any justice to how beautiful it is.
Patrick was very helpful in getting everything organized and gave very helpful suggestions. We were picked up from the ferry by the driver/handyman Nondo who was very nice. We then had the roughly 1 hour drive to the villa and were left breathless by how beautiful it is.
The house and the grounds and breathtaking. The view of the beautiful ocean, white sandy beach and the feeling of so much space and privacy is just amazing.
The staff was excellent as well, we were served three course meals which were so tasty and satisfying. Melanie, the manager was really nice as well. Nondo also took us snorkeling on the boat one morning and we were able to swim with dolphins.
Overall we loved and enjoyed our stay and left feeling rested and energized, we can not wait to go back.

“Villa Loiki was an experience for the soul and mind”
Reviewed 10 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

My day at Villa Loiki always started with me rushing to the beach as soon as I woke up, in my pajamas and barefoot. That vastness on the beach truly felt like we were on an island, uninterrupted by anything from the world around us. The simplicity of people's lives on the island, the rawness of the beach, the stillness in the air, the energy in the sea, it was all so good for the soul and mind. Living in a city, we almost want to believe that we have what we need and we keep "looking and searching" for more, whether its in material things, events we go to, big homes we build, better jobs we get, I don't know but it seems to me that really all we need is nature. Villa Loiki gave me that inner peace and serenity that I haven't felt since I was a teenager living on the island of Cyprus, by the sea, walking on the sand, picking sea shells and barefoot. We didn't need more entertainment than what the sea and sun and nature around us offered. I almost envied the local Zanzibarians for their bountiful land providing them fruits, vegetables, spices, fish, water, rain... while so many westerners are moving back to a life this simple now. Its amazing.

“Paradise”
Reviewed 21 October 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The people in the villa are just amazing! Pamela, Zau, Nondo and the rest of the staff are amazing just the way they are. Always there to help and support. The place is huge, you can play hide-and-seek easily. There are numerous sun beds, clean pool, cocnut trees, space, white sand. Just be aware of the spikes in the ocean, they are hard to pull out ;)

This is a true paradise. You can just chill. You can ask to buy woods and do a fire at the beach right in front of the ocean. Or ask to buy fresh fisches, which are huge and cheap. Or go with the boat to Mnemba. Or do a car trip along the coast.

“Second time just as lucky”
Reviewed 27 April 2015 for a stay in August 2014

We stayed at this villa last year and had such a lovey time we revisited this year and booked for next year. We travelled with our 8 ad 10 year old children. Zanzibar is difficult to get to but do ask the owner advise before you book anything as he knows all the routes to take etc. Once you are there a driver meets you and life becomes very easy! The villa is lovely not because it is perfectly appointed but because it is a real home from home with real furniture and ornaments and pictures rather than bland white and empty, There are lots of staff to help with everything but they live in a separate house in the grounds so you don't feel put upon. I could list lots of little bits anb bobs that aren't perfect but that is because it is run so comfortably and homely. There are endless sun loungers, the beach is lovely, the views are fantastic, the owner is super helpful. It is an exotic and exciting trip to go on.
