The bed is very comfortable, and the room is made of wood which makes us feel very warm. Quiet and tidy. Very large space in the dining room and lodge. Plenty of car parks which is very convenient. Not far away from the main street, and is very close to the Wanaka Tree.More

The custodian obviously takes great pride in their work as the place is spotless and superbly maintained.
The building has the feel of an 80's ski lodge but that's not a negtive thing as it feels really welcoming. The comprehensive and clean shared kitchen and lounges add to the experience. Bed was comfortable and very clean, facilities are perfect, location is great.
Highly recommended.
I enjoyed my stay here. Thanks for the free upgrade. I really liked the organized logical manner I'm which the place is set out. Obviously some thought has gone into designing and maintainjng quality systems.

Very clean everywhere in the Lodge. Comfortable rooms and the large communal kitchen has all the mod cons required. Lovely outlook to well kept gardens where you can sit outside and enjoy the sun with a glass of wine, or use the large lounge with its great games cupboard. It is fun to socialize with other visitors if you feel like a chat, otherwise just continue reading that book.

Great little place to stay in Wanaka! Extremely clean/tidy, well-organized, and one of the best self-catering kitchens I've seen, hosts are lovely. Parking on-site, and other facilities (including hot tub) are great.
Well located - couple minutes (drive) up the road from the town centre, but still within walking distance - or they even have bikes you can borrow. Very conveniently located on the road out to Mt Aspiring - so super close to nearby attractions such as Roy's Peak, Wildwire Wanaka, Diamond Lakes etc.
Highly recommend/would stay again!

Awesome place to stay. The welcome was warm and the children absolutely loved it. Perfect if you are tramping or want somewhere to cook your own food. We would definitely stay there again. Good location
