or the home you wish you had if it had a café expresso machine, waiters, and an interesting variety of food! When ever I travel all I really look for is a place that's friendly, not too expensive, warm, and makes really good coffee. Tick. All that and more. The coffee is great (we were in a camper van but for 3 days in a row it was our coffee stop. On our final day in Wanaka we had breakfast there and yep - it was tasty and interesting without being too much.

The staff were always super friendly which must be hard when you're in a tourist town and everyone else is on holiday and can be pretty demanding at times. So all round - fabulous.

Busy, which I guess is good, but really slow service as a result. Nowhere to wait so people are stood around like confused thirsty refugees.

Staff could be more polite.

This is an ideal place for casual eats at lunch time. 3 adults and 3 children had a lovely snack in this warm and welcoming cafe. The garlic bread with mozerella cheese was the best we have tasted and the chunky fries were hot and freshly cooked. Hot chocolates were good too. We were in a rush so the next time we visit hopefully we will taste more of their appetising choices on the menu. Sorry we didn't have longer! Service was cheerful and swift too.

Great place. And it feels right. Not sure quite what I mean by that except its sort of everything. The staff are pretty cool, the food is very nice , the tables and chairs sort of just work . The decor looks right and it's in the right location. Overall I would say it's damn good in an understated way.

Have had dinner here in a few occasions as well as coffees. Tonight's dinner did not disappoint. Steak was perfectly cooked, and have to recommend the dessert of cinnamon doughnuts with house made popcorn ice cream and salted caramel sauce. I would go there just for the dessert!!
