When passing through Wanaka, I have an unspoken rule that I must visit Amigos. It's that good, no lies. Best Mexican food I've had in the South Island so far, perhaps even in NZ. The margaritas are a must!!

Wow, what a menu! For both meat lovers and vegetarians, we were really spoilt for choice. I got four soft tacos (they’re only small, plus the choices sounded so tasty) and my partner got six (oops, no regrets) and the flavour was incredible. The Torta Di Lima.. what a dessert. The flavour! Perfect mix of sweet and zest. The cocktail menu was the cherry on the cake. I can’t wait to come back to Wanaka to eat here again!

We decided at last moment to eat out here and so pleased we did. The tapas were grea,t service excellent and all resonably priced. We would have loved to have gone back. To be recommended.

Treat customers extremely poorly, i live in wanaka and i have been to the bar three times, I was never well attended and the food is not tasty, but the drinks are nice.

I was in Wanaka on business by myself and really felt like Mexican. Loved the atmosphere...a real buzz with people dining in and out but still felt quite comfortable dining solo.

Service was very friendly and attentive.

Food was full of flavour and lovely to be able to order small sized serves so that a person can try a number of different flavours.

Really enjoyed and felt excellent value for money.

A restaurant with something to suit everyone.
