I stayed in the King's suite. The price was honest, the location fine and the room comfortable and spacious. The only drawback was the creaking sound of woodplanks as they shifted. The building is made of wood, which is rather cool but it did wake me up as it readjusted at night.

The motel is located near the city and next to the grocery supermarket open till 9pm. Free car park available. I had an upstairs room for 130 NZ$. Excellent facilities (tea, coffee, etc). The bed was comfy and the room was equipped with a sofa :-)

Location of the motel was great, right in town and next to town center. Supermarket was right behind the motel. However, there was no laundry, and motel reception operating hours were quite limited. But the biggest bugbear was the frequent creaking sound from the timber/wood that the motel was constructed from - it may be a problem for light sleepers.

The motel had a great location. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind and friendly when we arrived. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything we need. A great little town. I wish we had stayed longer!

Recently had the opportunity to stay at the motel for two nights while attending a friends wedding. The motel is clean and located in an excellent location with supermarket right next door and lake Wanaka only a couple of minutes walk away. The room was well kept and parking is available onset (although slightly limited in amount of parking available).

The hotel is neat and clean and located close to the town shops. (Supermarket is 1 minute walk away).Parking is available onsite. Only stayed 1 night, on our journey in the south island. The room we stayed in, had only limited kitchen facilities. Being close to town, the surrounding streets are flat, so you don't need to be a mountain goat to make your way back to the hotel room. Good value accommodation for short stays.
