We have eaten here previously and always had great food. This visit we ordered the tikka masala chicken and the 10 hr cooked venison curry. The tikka masala was great but the venison was poor- the taste was great but there was a lot of oil- I expected this was used to keep a lean cut like venison tender. However the meat was tough due to tendons not breaking down (some pieces ok others tough). This is surprising for a 10 hour stew. If the meat was tender it would have been a good dish. Hopefully just a one-off bad night. Flavours in both dishes were great!
