Great place to eat. Try the meatballs with the fennel salad. Nice staff. Coffee was doing as well. Will come back if in town.

Great new lunch spot.inviting display of food .Some options do need explaining.A great array of salads..the Israeli couscous was great.
In a wine area it is a bit odd to offer unlisted red or white though.Is there a wine list.

I have a love hate relationship with Big Fig, I hate it because I now spend all my wages there ;) I love it because, as a coffee snob, the barista makes amazing coffee and the food, the best tapas outside of Spain.

Big Fig sells delicious salads and soups. When I visited, I loved the $7 soup of the day with a warm pita. They have plenty of salads that you can mix and match. They also serve great coffee and have free wifi for customers. Big Fig is a nice cozy place to have a meal on a chilly winter day in Wanaka!
