Visited Poppies last night with a group of friends. The food was delicious especially the soup, local salmon and home made ravioli. The price was good too but the best part was the warm welcome and helpful service and advice from the staff. One even got her car and drove me to the place I was looking for. Fantastic service. Thanks again

This is the best place to go for a meal if you're in Twizel. Great service. Husband had the fillet steak which he could't fault and I had the gnocchi which was delicious. We shared the Poppie's special dessert which was fabulous. A lovely place to go.

We had a nice time at Poppies - unfortunately weren’t told the kids waffles weren’t on the menu anymore and were surprised when pancakes came out instead of a waffle. Unfortunately the pancakes meal for children was really small - more expensive than the kids toastie with much less food.

Otherwise the meal was pleasant and service was great!

A lovely surprise in Twizel. Delicious food, warm and cosy environment and excellent service. Can recommend all the mains - we had Beef Cheeks and Salmon. But can also recommend the lamb curry, fillet steak and fish and chips. The chocolate and mint fondant for dessert was stunning .. with a delicious soft centre. Visited this restaurant as we were doing the A2O cycle journey. Fabulous and 10/10.

Great menu, friendly service and fantastic food. This is one out of the box! Amazing quality restaurant for such a small town. Very good wine list as well. Highly recommend,
