Handy location for partner riding part of the bike trail. He was able to store his bike at the back of the unit. The room was clean and had enough space for our suitcases and other assorted stuff. The bed was comfortable. Parking right outside the unit meant unpacking the vehicle was easy. The bed was comfortable too.

As always our stay at the Lakes Motel was great. Very friendly and helpful staff has always been a feature of the Lakes Motel, together with the comfortable beds . It was nice and cosy as we experienced a cold snap. We look forward to returning.

The pictures on line do not do this place justice. From the outside, it looks like and older style standard run of the mill motel with parking outside the rooms. However, when you open the door to your room it is a whole different story. The room was spacious with plenty of room and furniture for several people and a separate bedroom as well.
The owner was very pleasant and provided us with enough information about the surrounding are for our stay.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the Twizle area.

Was lovely and warm on a cold winters day after skiing . Spacious and clean and friendly owners . Real good strong shower and big bathroom Would certainly recommend it for couples and families.Will be back next skiiseason

What a wonderful refuge from the gale force winds that hit the lake while I was there for the NZ Masters Rowing Championships. Warmth! Not only from the heat pump, but from the wonderful proprietors! Within walking distance to the grocery stores, coffee, restaurants and the food trucks, just across the street. PERFECT place for where I needed to be! BAM! Perfect!
