5 day getaway for our babymoon / birthday celebration. What a beautiful time away 🤍 It couldn’t have been more perfect for what we were after which was a relaxing time to soak up some sun and snorkelling before baby arrives. Thank you everyone for such a beautiful stay!!!

Let me start with the good points, the resort is beautiful with so much to offer for kids. The rooms are clean and the buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options. That’s unfortunately where it ends.

Our room was dated, had mould in the shower and the shower and basin didn’t drain well. We had to turn off the water half way through each wash in order not to flood the floor. We stayed in an Ocean View, ground floor (425).

The service here is bad, when you walk into the ice cream shop/or Rosie’s tour desk you aren’t even acknowledged. Every Bulla seems forced, they aren’t happy here.

The restaurant staff don’t deal well with changes to the menu, my son has an allergy and each time we ordered a burger with no mayo, the burger always came with mayo. One time we sent the burger back twice and gave up and ordered something else as they couldn’t get it right. If you have an allergy, DO NOT come here.

The buffet dinner is overpriced and the food was horrible. The dinner at the Grill was horrible also, I ordered the ribs and I took two bites and didn’t finish the meal. The lunch at the terrace was good. The buffet breakfast was lovely but you had to pay extra for a latte. Never have I been charged for a coffee at a buffet breakfast.

There is no filtered water station anywhere at the resort which is a crime. It forces you to pay for bottled water.

The water park is great but they don’t monitor the number of kids. It can get packed and it can be dangerous. One child was knocked out as someone landed on his head.

Rosie’s tour desk tried to rip us off with the transfer to the airport. In the morning they quoted us $105 for a shared shuttle, and $290 for a private transfer. I went back to book the shared shuttle and she said it was $105 per person, so $420 all up. I said that’s more than the private shuttle you quoted, and then she hiked up the private price to $350 (which was still cheaper than the shared shuttle). I went next door and book a taxi for $150.

This hotel is not cheap. We came from the intercontinental which was absolutely amazing. The price difference was $350 per night. For the amount we are paying I would expect the food and service to be much better. I regret coming here and don’t recommend this hotel at all.

What a wonderful resort, from the moment we walked in we felt so welcome, just like part of the family. We arrived early evening and were told to head down to dinner as soon as we could - well what a selection in the buffet there was. Food is magnificent - Golden Cowrie was amazing and the view is gorgeous. The one night we headed to The Black Marlin we were disappointed with the service so didn’t return.
Water sports were lots of fun, parasailing, biscuit, water park and jet ski. Plenty to choose from if one wishes too.
Our favourite evening activity was spending time at the Bilo Bar, the welcome each night was filled with happiness. Elijah was barman extraordinaire!!

We had a wonderful trip and will return.
