We went here for our 30th anniversary, booked 10 months in advance and were given a ground floor room, next to the kids club, and they set up a giant movie screen outside our room. When we complained they did offer to move us, but we were already all unpacked and neither room was great. Also, waterfront here is not waterfront elsewhere, there was a big lawn and a swimming pool in between our room and the beach. They also don't want you bringing your own beverages to the pool. The staff did try and make it right, but it was too little too late. The 3 days were ruined. If you look at my other reviews all over the world you will see I am not a complainer, at all, this was just bad.

We do understand your disappointment with the room however that is the room type you had booked for and knowing it was not where you wished to be we offered a room move again as you mentioned you were all already unpack.
The design of the resort is as such and am sure prior to staying you would have seen other reviews and images on the layout.
Most resorts on Denarau do not allow guests to bring their own drinks to the pool or beach side.

I absolutely loved our time at Wyndham Denarau island. All the staff was sooo nice and helpful especially Izzy the activities officer he really made our time special and always took care of us. His the best took us out stand up boarding , made me a hat out of the bamboo when he finished work but stayed back cause he knew I wanted the hat. Shoutout to Kitione as well he always was very nice and made our stay more enjoyable. We will be back next year yay!

I must say the staffs are the best. They serve with a heart and i hope they are being paid well. But since the death of an 8 year old recently this month due to an electricity shock is an unfortunate turn of events. Have to be very cautious about the whereabouts of children if they are outdoors around this hotel.
6 day stay but unfortunately the weather was not favourable for our stay. Cancelled boat trip for 2 of our party due to poor weather, but in saying that, we were given a refund promptly. Sailing boat trip went ahead for 2 of our party, and it was amazing. Being self contained it was well appointed for rainy days, so we still had a great time. Fiji is a destination for everyone. Tip... the Bula Bus leaves from the hotel and will take you to the Port $8 return 1 trip or $10 for an all-day pass. The best thing is Club Wyndham is the start of the journey... lovely walk along the foreshore, passing through all the hotels and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Say Hi to Dan at the front when you arrive he is amazing and can arrange anything for you.
