We had another fantastic stay at the Westin Denarau. We come every year, and always stay/base ourselves out of here while we are In Fiji.
The staff are WONDERFUL and make the Westin the best by far - all of the resorts in Denarau are beautiful but the people at the Westin always go above and beyond to make everyone’s stay wonderful.

The kitchen and wait staff at the breakfast buffet are wonderful. Thank you to Apisai, Aisnate and all of the other wonderful staff for always taking fantastic care of us. You are so helpful and kind and it is hugely appreciated.

Vinaka to the chefs - they make BEAUTIFUL food. The breakfast buffet at the Westin is without a doubt amazing. The variety of food is incredible and you can have anything and everything you could wish for. The fresh cheese being made alongside the asian corner making pho/noodle dishes. Famila is wonderful on the eggs/omelette station and multi tasks like a master. The freshly squeezed juices are delicious and the chef makes every flavour you could imagine.

The ladies in the bakery are amazing! They made me a beautiful fresh coffee each morning and can tailor it to however you like.

Really enjoyed our stay until tonight. The noise is totally ridiculous and scheduled to go until midnight. It’s like to band are in the room. I have never heard noise like it. This is meant to be a restful and relaxing break but how can this be a suitable place for anyone to relax or sleep especially with a child. Up to 10pm might be acceptable but midnight is ridiculous

We originally booked The Sheraton requesting interconnecting rooms as we have teenage sons. On arrival the Sheraton couldn’t accommodate so we were upgraded to ocean view rooms at The Westin. We have had friendly service from every staff member at the adjacent sister resorts owned by Marriott - the Westin, Sheraton and Sheraton Villas. It’s great to be able to use the facilities and charge back to our room from all three hotels. Be prepared for and adjust to ‘Fiji time’ (things are relaxed here and take longer than at home!). Say Bula (hello) and Vinaka (thank you), be friendly and smile, and you’ll be reciprocated with friendly and helpful service and enjoy your stay a lot more. We’ve seen several stressed-out arrivals demanding double-shot espressos or complaining about slow service, and being rude to staff. Better to chill out and go with the flow. After all, we all come here to relax, right? Hotel rooms are lovely - Fijian-style, clean and super comfortable beds. Great to be able to use all Marriott facilities (join Marriott Bonvoy for free before arrival, advise hotel of your membership number for 10% off food and beverages at all 3 resorts). Prepare for price-shock (500ml bottle of Fiji Water at restaurant $11 FJD - about $8 AUD!) so we’re drinking wine and beer instead 🙂 Not cheap either compared to home, but we’re on holidays and deserve it 🙂🥂 You can walk along the beachfront to several other resorts (Radisson Blu and Wyndham are closest) to enjoy their restaurants and happy hour pricing. Free internet works great which keeps the teenagers happy. You can take the free (brown) Bula Bus from 2.30pm to the Sheraton, Sheraton Villas, or Golf Club restaurant. It comes every 10 minutes or so. You can walk to the Marina and other resorts (a couple of km so wear comfy shoes and avoid stepping on the frogs at night) or pay around $8 per adult for the paid Bula Bus - much more relaxing. Enjoy your stay!
