We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Westin. The grounds were immaculate Api one of your gardeners did an amazing job! Even bringing us fresh coconuts. Every single staff member was ready to help and solve issues quickly. Unfortunately our room flooded but the staff dealt with the issue promptly and moved us to another room. From the girls who cleaned our room there attention to detail was impeccable there smiles brighten our day. To all the amazing kitchen staff.
Its unfortunate to see how hard the Fijian people work and how little they are paid its disgusting to think that only a small amount goes to the actual workers and the remainder to the head honchos.
We were disappointed upon leaving that the westin no longer had a Christmas fund for staff, that we would have been happy to contribute to.
This saddened us greatly.
We hope to see the westin Christmas fund back in action when we return next.

We wanted to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary but was dissappointed with the room. The bathroom was so dated, the shower handle came off in my hand, ants everywhere in the bath and no exhaust fan. You can see where silicon has been used to stop a leak. The cost of food and drinks are very expensive
On a good note the staff are so friendly and nice and will go out of there way to help you, and i feel sorry for them for the sub standards they have to work with, but they still managed to do a great job

Room tip: I think the best rooms would be on the ocean front and on ground level for older people

We chose The Westin for our Fiji holiday on recommendation from our travel agent. It was a good choice as there was no "kids club", still too many small kids for our liking. There were far more young families next door at the Sheraton and Radisson Blu. The resort was lovely, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The grounds and the pool were very nice, we very much enjoyed aqua aerobics each morning. The restaurants were all good although there were no cheaper to medium priced options in the evening on site. We went into the Port on the Bulla Bus to eat dinner twice, much more reasonably priced restaurants there. We ate lunch most days in the bakery, there was plenty of choice for a light lunch and the girls were all just lovely. As much as we loved our holiday, we won't be returning to Fiji (it was our second trip) as it is way too family friendly for us, our children are now adults. I think both Denarau and the Coral Coast need "adult only" resorts.

Room tip: Partial ocean had great views and we were in village two, just far enough away from the main complex, so nice and quiet

Ocean breeze room, very spacious, fantastic bathroom - shower and bath with the toilet in a seperate room.
Bed was so comfortable and the linen on the bed beautiful.

It was nice having the Adults only pool, area there is small and one day there were no free loungers available. Nice having a bar and snack food available there.

Buffet breakfast was nice and good selection.

Great being able to use the Sheraton pools, we found them much warmer than the pools at the Westin.

Enjoyed our stay

Lots to like and not too much to dislike.
Foremost, the staff are the highlight. Genuine, caring, and typically Fijian. If you expect things to happen fast, don’t.
Just relax and remember, Fijian Time. Everything happens but at a steady relaxing pace, just as it should be on holiday.
Great amenities, facilities and activities.
Everything is clean and well maintained from our experience.
We would go back.
