We just finished our stay at this unit and found it fantastic! Holly the manager was great to work with when making reservations and answered all my questions fully when asking about the park. The unit was clean and tidy upon our arrival, and had cable, DVD with dvds to choose from and wifi(a bit slow). We stayed in room 2909 which had a nice view of the trees and surrounds out the front of the units. There was only two of us, but there was plenty of room for a family with children as there were bunks and double bed in the loft. Nice to have a couple of bathrooms if we had children with us. The unit was well heated and we accessed the laundry room on the floor a couple of times when needing to do some laundry and it was hassle free. The unit is about 30 minutes from the main lodge, so it was perfect location to stay. We drove into the main lodge area every day to access walks, tours and general activities. The units were full, yet the place was very quiet, which was nice at the end of the day. Overall a great place to stay if you are wanting to visit Yosemite:)
Condo is very nice and a great location. It has everything you need for cooking, including a bunch of Trader Joe's spices, which was a welcome and appreciated touch as we flew in from NYS. The upstairs loft was a little hot early in the evening for sleeping, but we left the screen door open with the fan on and it cooled down enough by midnight each night. The grill ran out of propane on our second night. I left a message with the caretaker via the in-room phone and by the time we returned to the condo on our third night it was filled and ready for our use.
The perfect condo for our little family, the upstairs room with the bunk beds and double bed was perfect for a family of four. Condo was neat, clean, and a perfect location to access the valley.
This little cosy, lovely condo was one of the highlights of our American road trip through California. It was so comfortable, beautifully clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We shopped for enough basic food in Mammoth lakes to last our two nights there but I would quite happily of stayed the entire two weeks in this condo B209. We had a slight problem with the tv, we discovered eventually that the previous occupants had used a dvd and hasn't put the tv back to normal. After trying and failing to contact the manager and caretaker we finally sorted it. The caretakers answerphone was full and wouldn't allow us to leave a message and we needed a long distance code to contact the manager from the landline, which we didn't have. This was the only problem we had, luckily it was nothing major, but had it been I don't know what we would have done.
