This visit was a great experience and a must see before visiting The Alamo. This site shows what an entire mission with all buildings included. The Alamo does not. It was interesting to learn the history of the missions in San Antonio and visit the church. The church and grounds are beautifully maintained.

Take your car to this Mission church. It is one of four in a row within a 4 mile radius and the main centre is here. Make sure you drive to see all four. They have been remarkably well preserved and there are staff to talk to you at each location. This in keeping with the US National Parks and Monuments is really well presented.
