It's a nice hotel, the only bad thing I could mention it's maybe the parking lot, you may get a spot far away from your room, beside this, the hotel is clean, the staff is very helpful and it has a good location.

Great hotel to stay for a vacation. Awesome air conditioning. Will definitely be staying there again when we go to Brownsville. Very great price value. Loved swimming in the big pool. A very convenient hotel can get to any place in Brownsville less then 5 minutes.

Booked hotel online after reviews and pictures seemed pretty ok. Traveled July22-25,2016. Lobby is shabby, unclean, and...NO A/C running in Lobby and halls of Hotel. Staff is very friendly. Hotel room was a single bed, with the remodeled LOOK of the one in pic with brown and gold bedspread. A/C in room worked very well. Room itself was dusty, lime build up around all facets, and toilet is VERY LOW to the ground. Boyfriend had to "Lift Up his sack" to keep from tea bagging in toilet water, seriously. Wi Fi VERY slow. Pool looked clean, but, needs major repairs...big Hole in bottom, major chips, cracks. Did not see bugs until waking second morning to find one big roach chasing me in the bathroom. Hotel Standards are not the same in border towns,so,keep that in mind. For the price (64.00 a night) Decent.

Room tip: Room 113 was where we stayed. Ground floor, short distance to good in house Mexican Restaraunt.

We almost missed it because of the deep fog. This is an older hotel, but the room was clean. The carpets, however, did have stains. The staff was very accommodating, allowing us to park in front of the entrance so that they could keep an eye on our over-packed truck. Also, they gave excellent directions. The room was a bit pricey for what it was.

The hotel has great access to everything downtown area and mall very close by. The pool was very clean was able to do some laps and then a quick workout in their gym area. The best part was the FREE Wi-Fi it was a great speed. Thank you Magnuson hotel for a perfect stay.

Room tip: the rooms with pool access are great you go in and out faster and don't have to worry about other guest looking at you all soaked up while you walk back to your room. :D
