This was a nice little place, definitely not "high end" but good for the affordable rate. It has a charming entrance and kind staff.
Location Pros: Located in "downtown" Saipan and close to many of the touristy spots, it made for easy sight seeing. Walking distance from the beach, many restaurants, trinket shops, and a grocery store.
Location Cons: If walking around the Garapan area in the evening time, you will get stopped every 10 feet by a different spa company, asking if you want a massage. It does get tiring some times, night after night.
Bed is more like a traditional Japanese bed - hard with a thin mattress. It took a bit to adjust, but I ended up finding this to be surprisingly supportive for my back, and enjoyed it!
Our reservation also came with use of their spa's floral hot tub - but this was a much smaller thing that we expected - and did not have private showers, but just a shower head to the side of the room. A bit too open for us! We did not use this, but we DID enjoy the pedicure we were given (my husband, hesitant at first, found he really enjoyed it! And we have gone back since our initial stay to have friends get pedicures there, too.)
The room was simple, and did not include the coffee maker that was advertised, but when I brought this to the attention of the manager, they swiftly went out and purchased a brand new one for our room!
Air Conditioning in the room worked wonderfully.
Cons:
*Water smelled sulfuric, they do not use air conditioning in the hallways so there was a bit of a humid, musty smell (but that's pretty common in Saipan!)
*I am not an overweight person, but I broke the toilet seat when using it! Eek! Maybe I'm just too heavy since I'm tall
