This restaurant offers a variety of Japanese food from sushi, sashimi, yakitori, ramen and bento sets. The prices are reasonable and the food quality is good. I was lucky to have fresh tuna sashimi for dinner and my husband had a big bowl of delicious miso ramen. We always enjoy dining here. This place has a welcoming ambiance and friendly service.

My second visit to Kinpachi, and its gone worse. I ordered the shrimp curry set. The three breaded deep fried shrimps were really overcooked and tasteless. The curry sauce had meat in it. Luckily I am not pescatarian, however if I knew the shrimp curry has meat in it, I certainly wouldn't have ordered it.

Service was slow.

We sat at the table next to the kitchen. We could see what was going on through the glass windows. It was not inspiring.

The food quality, service standards and attention to detail is not very 'Japanese'. I will only visit this place if I am invited, and even then I will try to get out of it.

I ordered fried mahi mahi. In the photo it looked like it was battered, which is what I wanted. What I got was battered panfried mahi mahi. It was soft, not crispy. But it was tasty. The fish was moist and tender. Even though the dish was not what I expected, it was still nice.

The staff were OK, not the most friendly and energetic. However this is the most un-Japanese Japanese restaurant that I have ever been to. The greetings, the interior, table layout and service standards was quite different from every Japanese restaurant that I have ever been to. I'm not in a hurry to go back to that place, unfortunately.

The meal was very good with a very authentic Japanese taste. Took a while until food was served, but acceptable. Recommended for travelers wishing for healthy breakfast.

Extensive Japanese cuisine selection. We were spoilt for choices . But those with aggressive style eating might be refused service. We had yakitori , chicken bbq , Spicy chicken , tori karaage and ebi tempura. Partaken pork Katsu with rice. Good food. Servers seem confused but berry friendly .
