This is a typical motel for New Zealand with well equipped kitchen and en-suite. Rooms are comfortable and clean. It is situated within walking distance of the Fox Glacier Township where you will find restaurants and a short drive to Lake Matheson and Fox Glacier walk. We received a very friendly welcome and great information on things to do. Would certainly stay here again and recommend if you are walking in the area or as part of you New Zealand road trip.

Room was nice, clean, and bed was comfortable. However, the service was quite poor. However, staff were friendly and are very knowledgeable about the area.
The room would suit a couple or a solo traveler, but not a family.
There were no Sky channels for kids.
The staff are very friendly and the motel is walking distance to town. Bathroom was large, shower curtain needs to be replaced but everything else was fine. Cloudy the entire time we were there so couldn't see the mountain but we saw Kia's! Would stay here again.
This resort town charges a lot for accommodation. This motel room had everthing we needed, however it was very plain for the price. The bathroom shower curtain was worn, the vinyl floor under the shower was discoloured, and we could feel the springs in the queen bed. However, toiletries were provided and the towels were nice. The motel is close to the center of the town and the receptionist was friendly and helpful.
Simple, clean and quite location. Good location to Fox Glacier Helihike. A few minutes walk. Motel allowed us to parked car there upon checkout and proceed to our hike.
Near all the eateries and grocery stall within walking distance.
