There's a great view of Clyde township, Lake Dunstan, the Clutha river and Earnscleugh fruit growing area with a view of the Alexandra hills in the background. In the winter you are able to see the different sections of property exposed because there are no leaves on the trees but Spring shows off the Blossum and summer is filled with green foliage and Autumn beautiful rich reds and yellows

Very imoressive engineering done on this water storage dam near Clyde in South Land New Zealand. Spectacular mountains and bare rock faces feed this dam. Lookout on the Southern side will make for good photo op.

Massive construction, well worth a visit. Went on a club outing and everybody enjoyed it.
It takes about 2 hours, but well worth the time. 38 of us.

Thenwater justbtravels for miles and then you see the dam, quite impressive, very large concrete structures sitting against the hill faces, looking very man made against the backdrop of the beautiful lake created by the dam itself.
