We went here recently to shop in the main store. We were happy with the lovely selection of honey based items to choose from, loved the honey tasting kiosk and our daughter enjoyed watching the bees in the wall!

One negative was the young cashier wasn’t the friendliest. When customers are friendly or ask questions, it’s good customer service to be kind and smile. It’s an amazing difference what a warm and friendly staff member can do for a place. Others there were friendly.

Being Aucklanders with family in the far north we've driven past The Honey Centre dozens of times. Finally found the time to stop in and am really pleased we did. A wonderful range of honey which you can taste before choosing your favourite. For us it was the Manuka. Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced we thought. We bought a small bottle, and consumed it quick smart. We went back this weekend, this time with our own jars and bought a whole lot more at a even better price. I see regular visits to this place in our future.

Popped in to have a look was really impressed with the layout. There are stacks of different flavoured honey ,my husband bought Honeydew. There is a hive you can view and watch the bees. There are bee and honey related gifts. Next door is a cafe with hexagonal walls like a cell. Lots of honey based goodies.

While driving North with overseas visitors we called in to the Honey Centre, well known for an excellent range of honey and souvenirs. Also a cafe that serves great coffee. Plenty of parking and safe entry and exit to the state highway.
You can see beehives with bees working through clear panels-so interesting!
There is a tasting table where you try the honey varieties before buying.

We took friends from Perth to visit the Honey Centre & found it both interesting and with a wide range of honey-based food, health care, home decor & cosmetic items. They have living hive walls & you can taste plenty of the varieties of honey. There is a cafe which we didn't stop at as we were heading further north. There is ample parking in the open gravel carpark outside.
