This place and the staff never fail to keep us coming back!

Lunch for 15 people with varying tastes was the order of the day. The food as always was tasty and well priced. The bar has a good selection of drinks on tap, out of the fridge or off the shelf.

I had the chicken and bacon sandwich at $17.50 which was satisfying and well priced, others had the same, my son has a good appetite and filled himself up on a slab of ribs with fries and salad, some the fish and chips - all went down well.

Desert or coffee for a couple of the crowd and photos in the outdoor area at the back rounded out a great afternoon.

We will be back!

Had their gourmet pizza. Very nice. Service was very prompt and efficient. Desert - lemon slice was fine but the fruit salad was mainly Apple which was a bit disappointing.
Would eat there again though.

Don't be put off by the look from the street. This hotel does harbour a small town pub and gaming lounge, but it has a character and style. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms that look slightly uninspiring from outside are renovated and comfortable.

Our group of 4 enjoyed a satisfying Dinner at the Bridgehouse . Even early in the week there was a reasonable crowd in the restaurant . The service was efficient & quick . Our meals were well presented & enjoyable & the price reasonable . Overall good value .

Went here for lunch yesterday. Wasn't busy. 6or so people but waited ages for food. The food was ok when it came. Adequate. I had prawn and avacado cocktail. Sure there's not much you can do with that. My husband had seafood chowder. Looked yummy but he said it was a bit too thick but plenty of fishy stuff in it. The garlic bread was delice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Place is a bit tired which is a shame because the setting by the river is beautiful. Would I go there again?? Yes deffinatly.
