Our stay here was only one short night, but I wish we could've enjoyed it longer. Walking distance to a nearby bar/restaurant was a plus, and a short ride to beaches and walks/hike was perfect. The room was so beautiful and made us feel like we were all alone far away from everything! It was comfortable and relaxing and I wish I had a cottage like that in my backyard. Would definitely stay again if it weren't so far from home. :)

Totally fantastic place to stay. Felt like a little oasis tucked away, but was a short stroll from the hustle. Beautiful cabins, clean and comfy and everything you could need. Staff were delightful, friendly and helpful.

The Church was the perfect place to start our New Zealand adventure. Friendly, helpful service, spacious room and very comfortable bed. We couldn’t fault it. The walk along the coast was beautiful and the hot beach was fun.

We rented the house for our family of four and we were not disappointed. The children had their own room and plenty of outdoor space to play. We all loved the lime and lemon trees in the yard!! The wonderful lady working reception provided us with a plethora of ideas to keep busy during our stay. She was very kind and always helpful.
Accommodation was very clean and bed super comfortable. We ordered the breakfast and it was delicious and generous. Enough we had to scale it down the next day as it was too much food for us.
This is the ideal location to explore the area. After going to Whitianga for the day, we were glad we chose Hahei for our stay and home base. The church added to that charm!
