We arrived to sunshine, a very friendly greeting and accurate local information. on hand for our convenience and enjoyment were beach towels and spades. the church is next to a shuttle bus stop for local sites and close to hot water beach, internationally famous. The accomodation is serene with wonderful gardens and pathways. Not to be missed.
We spent 3 nights in a garden cottage in December. The place is spotless and the gardens are immaculate. We could easily have spent a week or more here. The bed was comfortable and the day bed was very inviting as well. The bathroom was small, that's true, but it was more than adequate. We also loved the fact that we could walk to several restaurants, the beach and Cathedral Cove right off the property.
This was the second time we have stayed at The Church and we have booked again for next year.
Glorious cottage with our own little deck and cottage garden. Clean & comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and beach towels and spades are provided.Short walk to the shops and beach.
The Church Bistro is very close - beautiful food and wine - a bit pricey but very worth it

Perfect little oasis tucked up on the edge of the village but walking distance to the beach. Lovely garden, spotlessly clean, lush towels and ground coffee. Spades for hot water beach and beach towels were provided - fantastic. Our hosts provided an astounding amount of information and suggestions, very helpful. Only suggestion is to replace lattice on the deck with vertical angled slats to increase privacy.

Everything was perfect for our stay in Hahei. From the location and amenities of the lodge to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, we couldn't have wished for more. A meal at the adjacent Church Restaurant was excellent and good value.
