Excellent little B&B! We stayed in the Hibiscus room which was an oasis of calm and tranquility! Beautifully decorated, comfortable and well appointed with views over the garden and pool and a dec on two sides with various chairs and a table. Sue and Phil were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them, with weather and travel advice thrown in! Breakfasts were really good with lots of choices. It was also lovely chatting to Sue and Phil and the other guests over a lazy breakfast. Definitely worth the long drive round the coastal road, as the main road closed because of the cyclone damage. Recommend staying here.
Wonderful home, very clean and at a quiet place, but very close to the beach. Very friendly and helpy hosts. Everything was, as you just can wish. We can recommend the B&B for everyone. Thank you for all.
Sue and Phil do their utmost to make everyone feel welcome and relaxed. Great facilities and wonderful breakfasts, with lots of helpful advice on local activities and places to eat. We loved the boat ride out to Cathedral Cove and hiring Ebikes to explore the countryside. All in all a great place to stay.
We had a wonderful couple of days at Hahei B&B. Not even the weather could spoil it for us. Phil and Sue are fantastic hosts. So welcoming and helpful. Full of knowledge about the area and happy to share. We stayed in the Hibiscus room which overlooked the garden. So tranquil. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious with an abundance of food 😋 Phil kept us updated on the road situation as there was still quite a few landslips due to the rain
We would love to return someday and would highly recommend a stay there
A big shout out also to the guys who work so hard to keep the roads open. They're absolutely amazing. It's thanks to them that we were able to access this beautiful part of North Island
