Really enjoyed our stay here: extremely comfortable, well equipped and spacious lodge with a great view of the frozen lake. Lovely pool, huge games room - and even art lessons available should you wish to try them - with cosy restaurant and bar. However, for us, the stars of the show were the staff! Carolyn, Denise, Danielle and Joanne in Reception, Jayson and Lisa in the Restaurant, and even the maintenance man, were so very friendly and helpful that they all felt like personal friends by the time we left! They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful holiday - and we did! Many thanks to them all!

Room Tip: We were in 428 - a 2 bedroom, 2 storey lodge with 2 balconies and a great view of the lake and we loved it!

Great place, clean cabins, good restaurant, quiet and peaceful. We chose this resort instead of staying at a hotel for a week long sports event, glad we did! The staff was friendly and you get a fully equipped cabin as apposed to a cramped hotel room.

Lovely apartment. Very well furnished and spacious. Nice swimming pool with lovely view, small sauna and hot tub. Small gym also available and a games come tv room. Nice cosy bar area and restaurant but we didn’t try the food.

However, the selling point is the lake itself which was beautiful even though it was frozen over. It is very peaceful and I would image would be a lovely place to stay in the summer. You are 5 minutes away from a really nice ski slope in the winter and a 20 min drive to a major supermarket although there is a small convenience store outside the complex and a petrol station. There are three or four food outlets and a nice bar/restaurant called the Redneck which served lovely food a 10 min walk into the village.

Overall a lovely relaxing place to stay for couples or families. Try it out.

Room Tip: Try to get an upper level room for view and less noise from above

Our next door neighbor was very annoying they had their tv volume eat to thigh to the max,it very very disturbing for our family out children was having trouble sleeping people need to be more considerate of others

Room Tip: The resort should have rules on disturbing others I don’t want another family to go through what we had to

First off I do love coming to this resort. The location is great and central. The restaurant has fantastic fish and chips and the atmosphere and view are wonderful. The front desk staff at the resort are always friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The unit we were in had some recent updates which were really nice. Pool and area are great as well. Maintenace staff are very helpful and quick to respond. We had an issue with rattling pipes whenever we used our downstairs toilet or when our neighbour used theirs. It kept waking us up our first night. Maintenance came the next day and resolved the issue quickly. We had requested a blue box and hairdryer but housekeeping never showed up with the stuff even after it was requested twice. Fortunately maintenance took care of it. We had to request for a dustpan as there wasn't, one again provided by maintenace. Finally when we requested extra toilet paper and oven mitts housekeeping showed up promptly. Linens are always clean, general cleanliness of unit was not bad. But there was cobwebs above the bed and finger prints all over the fridge handels and front of microwave. Something had been spilled on the coffee table that had dripped down and was along the underneath edge and on the drawer. The top of the coffe table was clean but housekeeping had missed the edge ect. The frying pans needed to be replaced along with the cookie sheet and the top of the oven should have been cleaned with stove top cleaner as it was still dirty. Housekeeping still needs to step it up.
