We have been to the Grange Hotel before Its just off the M8 so easy to get to Edinburgh /Glasgow . We did not want house keeping as the price we paid was so good .The staff all worked well the food was wonderfull . This is only a small hotel but it gets busy with people comming in for food and drinks . The barman can take a joke and the staff are always happy . We will be going back again . Ellie makes a very good breakfast.thank you for them .Our room over looked the M8 and it had a wonderfull view of all the lights from the houses / M8 on a dark Morning.

1.the room stank.
2 the beding has stanes on it.
3.the tv only had 4 channels on it.
4. There was holes in the walls in the bedroom .
5. There was stanes on the carpet.

And meny more extra features free of charge.

The bath room
1.more free holes in the wall to look at.
2.the shower was a joke cold water or water !!!!
3.some type of viruses growing in the bottom of the Shower.
4.and the toilet made a wining noise when flushed and pipes shock.

And meny more free features.

I truly think this hotel is overdue to be demolished with C4 high explosive or even a missile bur it does need shutting down by the HSE

Also fire hose reel out of reach it unless your a 15 ft gaint

Holes in walls, bathroom tiles, bathroom walls, stained mattresses, dripping shower. Photographs taken! Really needs attention. Really how long is this standard of poor hygiene, lack of housekeeping and investment sustainable for a hotel listed on laterooms?

Stayed at the Grange for a family funeral. As already stated, rooms are small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Not the most modern of décor but were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order and was of a good quality and served by excellent staff.
The meals in the restaurant are good, wholesome well presented value for money fayre. If you are looking for Michelin star catering, this is not the place for you. What this place does well is fresh home cooked food at a great price. There is no pretentious p*** here !! All the staff were helpful and friendly. Very nice stay.
