The atmosphere is relaxed, drinks are from the main Eat 17 counter. The food is amazing - smells and looks great and tastes even better. I had halloumi, rocket, sourdough, avocado and chilli jam. The portions are generous, it's good value. My husband enjoyed his full breakfast too

I have had breakfast here a couple of times now and each time it has been excellent. They produce a good portion and it’s so fresh in such a little space.

Found myself in Bishop’s Stortford this morning and in need of a good breakfast. Wandered up and down the high street and most places were either closed or looked pretty dismal!
Eventually saw a menu for Sourdough Toaster, which can be found inside Eat17 and a young guy asked me if I was looking for the best breakfast in town!
Had enough walking by then so decided to go for it!
So pleased I did - nice menu and a superb freshly cooked breakfast. The sourdough is really good and worth a visit on its own!
Colin was very personable and made my time for breakfast a pleasure.

This is such a great addition to Stortford. The Avo toast dishes are very filling and super tasty. The streaky bacon, poached eggs and avocado smash with bacon chilli jam was really delicious and very substantial. They also have some great sides like halloumi fries and crispy cauliflower bites. Definitely recommend
