If you are after a cheap and cheerful hotel in Denia then this is a good choice. It is probably 4Star because it has a spa but to all intents and purpose this is a 3Star establishment.
The ground floor room had twin beds pushed together, air con, shutter on window, safe and walk in shower that was weak but hot enough. There were a couple of chairs on the little patio outside the French doors. The decor and room decoration was tired as was the bathroom fittings. You get what you pay for.
Breakfast was a large cold buffet with cereals, pastries, multiple fruits, yogurts, fresh rolls, etc. Hot food was plastic scrambled egg, poached eggs, Continental bacon and frankfurters. You must not take any food or drinks out of the dining room.
The hotel has an outdoor pool which was lovely and a large lawn dotted with enough loungers. The bar next to the pool patio was expensive but handy.
In terms of location there is nothing nearby and it is a god 10-15 walk to the centre or harbourside restaurants.
Checkout is noon which is good and they were happy to stow luggage behind the reception desk.More
