We stayed here as we were catching a ferry the next day. Located right on the beach within walking distance to the ferry and the whole of the town. Parking is available free outside the property but I think it may be a little more difficult to get a place in highh season. The staff were friendly and accommodating at all times. The room was very clean and adequate. It was an upstairs room with a half window view of the sea. The bathroom was very clean and looked new, however, the shower although big seemed to be a little strange in that it was quite a big step in and out and once in, there was another step down to be underneath the shower unit. This means that when wet it was very slippery and could be subject to a fall especially to older people. The pool looked nice and could have been used except it was very windy the day we stopped. That said it is great value for money (45€ for a bigger room with access to a shared balcony)) and is above average for a usual hostel. The breakfast was included In the price but we also had an afternoon meal here where i had a lasagne and hubby had the chicken wrap. (See photos ) Both were of excellent quality with good presentation and value. We would definitely recommend this hostelry and we would also stay again when we are travelling in the area again .

Our second time staying here and have also visited when staying elsewhere in Denia. Location can't be beaten, right on the beach and within 5 mins walk of 4 other good restaurants if you want a change. We had an upstairs room this time, a bargain at €40 inc breakfast in October. Recently decorated bathroom, with excellent shower. Only small reservation that it had no outside seating area and only window opened to the steps leading to another room. Pool could still be used. Choice of breakfast. Lunchtime and evening menus good quality and value, although choice was limited. We will certainly be back next year.

Room tip: If a view or outside sitting area is important to you, check with the hotel. All rooms seem to be different.

This was our third stay here. We came with all the family including 3 young grandchildren. Location is excellent, right on the beach. When we needed a break from the beach we spent many hours around the lovely pool. First class service for a budget price, lovely people, comfy beds, a great place to stay. We will be back!

We came here for lunch most days on our holiday. The food is delicious, including the menu of the day which is very reasonably priced.

George will also make you any cocktail you like and they really do taste good. Sex on the beach is strongly recommended.

This place is a real gem, right on a beach which isn't really crowded even in high season. We had one of the cheapest ground floor rooms, which was a real bargain under €50 out of main season inc. breakfast. Not a very big room, but comfortable bed and good shower. Chairs and table outside the room. Small pool (a little chilly in May) with loungers. Easy parking right outside. Hostal guests can choose from the breakfast menu inc. eggs + smoked salmon and a "continental" collation, with proper coffee and orange juice. Attached bar/restaurant is convenient and good for other meals and drinks (reviewed separately). 10% discount on evening food/drink for hostal guests. We are based inland further north, but this will now be one of our two chosen spots for a couple of days by the sea. May be cheaper to book direct, rather than through a booking website.

Room tip: Rooms on 1st floor will have a view but are more expensive
