“Peaceful, relaxing suntrap.”
Reviewed 9 September 2018 for a stay in September 2018

Just returned from Las Marinas after 10 day stay. Apartment was spacious, clean & very comfortable - especially the huge bed. Contains everything you need for a lovely holiday. Lovely view from large balcony with loads of seating & loungers. Also outside grill & bbq which we used in the private garden. Picked limes from the tree to accompany drinks. The pool is lovely & we mostly had this to ourselves. Small gated complex, very secure. 10min walk to gorgeous beaches & town (minibus if needed). Old town within castle walls is great for exploring. Thank you for the welcome pack & the use of your lovely apartment.

“Excellent Villa.”
Reviewed 7 September 2018 for a stay in August 2018

We spent just over a week at Tony & Bev's property in Peniscola this August. The villa itself is well sized with all and more of the amenities you would expect, the terrace is a great place for breakfast in the morning in the rising sun (As well as every other meal!)
The location was good for us, not to near or far the centre of Peniscola (About a 15-20 minute stroll depending on your route).
There are several nice coves nearby to go swimming in when you get bored of the on site pool. We loved the town itself, especially as it seems to be predominately Spanish holiday makers which makes you feel like you are experiencing the genuine Spanish culture.
The site is a nice size and we had no problems with any of the neighbours during our stay as everyone was polite and respectful.
Would definitely stay here again if we every happen to be in Peniscola again.

“Best holiday ever”
Reviewed 10 July 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Location is brilliant, close to beach, restaurants and the old town which is beautiful. If you want to work off your paella the climb to the top of the castle is worth it especially for the views. We visited Morella with another castle (take plenty of water, it’s quite a hike to the top). We also went to Valencia, beautiful city and an easy drive from Peniscola. Everything you need for a great and relaxing holiday have been provided by Tony and Bev in their home from home.

“Best rental ever”
Reviewed 10 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

The flat is very comfortable and the best equipped ever. It has everything one could possibly need. The bed is ginormous! The view from the large balcony is lovely--- so nice to see and hear the sea. We had breakfast on the balcony every day and the odd time I cooked we had our evening meal there too. So relaxing. The welcome from Lucie was excellent and she is very efficient and pleasant.. This was our second time here and it won't be our last! Thank you Tony and Bev.

“Relaxing home from home in great location”
Reviewed 7 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

2 weeks here and we loved every minute. The best bits: sea views from peaceful shady balcony, large comfy bed, kitchen and lounge equipped with literally everything you need, generous use of mountain bikes and beach towels, reliable local bus (until mid- Sept) and best of all the location - on the outskirts of Peniscola, a gem of a genuinely Spanish holiday resort. Rare to hear English spoken and awash with fantastic seafood. The only downside I can think of was the weak wi-fi.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, and liked Peniscola. We knew as soon as we saw it that we would not look anywhere else for our holiday home. I'm sorry about the Internet connection fault, I just wish you had mentioned it to the managers, as soon as we knew about it we had it fixed the day after. Our provider had choked off our connection because they thought we had not paid!! As soon as I sent them our bank statements they switched it back on. We use the internet all the time over the winter for watching UK TV in HD, and mostly get 5 to 6 mbits/sec speed. I expect it gets a bit slower in July and August but no-one should see the problems you had.
I hope it does not put you off returning in future, Kind Regards, Tony
