This was an incredible place.
One of the cheapest All Inclusive hotels in Malta and great value for money.
Dont book here if you are expecting the Ritz treatment. You get what you pay for.
The pool is big enough for my kids and everyone elses to enjoy. Yes the sun terrace does get shaded in the afternoon, but this is Malta! A bit of shade in the afternoon is very welcome after the noon day sun has boiled you.
The staff are brilliant and courteous, but if you are rude and obnoxious then do not expect to be treated like royalty. A please and a Thank you go a long way as does a smile when ordering drinks and food. My self and my family, (10 in All) were treated very well and had fresh towels and a spotless room daily.
The food was good and plentiful, but not always to everyones taste, but there were always options.
All in all we had a wonderful 2 weeks and will be more than happy to book here again in the future.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 5th floor front have larger balconys and do not get direct sunlight in the morning

We stayed in the Canifor Hotel. Nice clean hotel in a good location. Close to bus station taking you anywhere you want. If your intending to get out and about. Buy the weekly pass for 21E at the station. Well worth it i thought. Maid service at the hotel was excellent. We stayed A/L and the meals were better than other places we have stayed and the drinks were ok too. Room was comfortable and so were the beds. The entertainment was watchable and the lounge area comfortable to sit in for the evening. The down side to this hotel was the pool area - too small and no where nice really to sit and relax.Seats outside were old and the whole area appeared in need of updating. Roof area isn't all that either. Luckly for us a friend was staying in a nearby hotel and we teneded to sit around her pool instead. All in all a great stay and we would go back.

I have stayed in this hotel several times in the past but never again. We were made to feel unwelcome within the first 20 minutes. The receptionist was rude when asking for the safe key. She wanted us to leave valuables in the room because she was "too busy" to organise the safe. We protested and she rolled her eyes and sighed at the prospect of having to fill in some paperwork and hand over a key.
Also the air conditioning is a joke!! It only comes on at certain times of the day these times are Mon-Fri 1730-2330 and Sun 1730-0100. We sat on the balcony in 30 degree heat as it was cooler than the room.
Also the food is of extremely poor quality!!
The cleaning could also be improved, considering there is no air conditioning through the night our sheets were only changed twice in 2 weeks.
We complained to the manager and were met again with an unhelpful and rude attitude, this is only a small part of my complaint the main part is being sent to the Maltese Tourist Authority since they have already investigated this hotel.

Arrived late to be told our room wasn't available and got shipped off in a taxi to another hotel of their property , were when we got there we noticed it wasn't anything like the hotel we had booked 10 months in advance. We were so tired with 2 children that we went to our room and tried to sleep but didn't as we were so mad! in the morning we took our bags back down to the reception and demanded that they find us a room at the hotel we had booked and that we weren't moving, there was a lot of phone calls from the receptionist and about an hour later another taxi came and took us back to the hotel we had booked, there was no family room until the next day but said they could give us 2 double rooms next to each other, so we went with this . The hotel was clean and tidy and was cleaned every day we were there, the food was the same everyday really ,we were all inclusive but ate out a bit for a different taste! I am vegetarian and you could book a meal in the morning for the night which I thought was good, there was a pizza place in the hotel but only open on weekends which we didn't understand as they were amazing but only got to have 1 . the room had a tv but you could only get sky news and a hair dryer,.the pool was salt water which hurt your eyes but gave us a great tan, always got a sunbed and pool area was cleaned every morning,was a bit of a pain as every time you got a drink you had to sign a slip at the bar and the bar was inside the hotel so evey time you needed a drink you had to get yourself dry before going indoors to get one , the snack bar was ok but had to eat inside! I think the hotel lacks some music around the pool area and a bar with drinks outside also some ice pops or ice creams for kids on all inclusive would of been nice.Some of the sfaff were really friendly while others weren't .Loads of places to eat and drink just a 5 minute walk, and about a 10 minutes you are on the front were everything is and its lovely , with the mix up with our rooms the hotel booked us a lovley boat trip to the Blue Lagoon which was amazing all inclusive and gave us all inclusive on our last day up until we went to the airport as normally it ends at 11 am in the morning when you leave your room so all in all they did make it up to us .We love Malta and it is our 3rd time visiting the island and will be returning soon xx

this hotel was not as expected at all, the pool is very small and the "sun terrace" only gets sun in the mornings, you could lay on the roof terrace, don't expect relaxation though as the air conditioners are on the roof and are noisy!! the hotel is very dated and when we went, full of young students. The best thing about it is the main bus station is just around the corner, 21 euros for 7 day unlimited travel card. There are a few hotels in the vicinity, spend the extra to stay in one of them!
