We came here in mid May for a week. As a young couple we were highly outnumbered by an older population, but since we were out of school holiday season this was not too much of a surprise. We went half board and I appreciated that the hotel tried to vary their food ranges including a Maltese food night, particularly as the area was VERY British and so it was almost like being at home, too much for me as a well-seasoned traveller!
Our main issue was the room, we ordered a double but got a twin room. After requesting a change the maid instead shoved two beds together! It wasn't too bad though. More concerning was the damp on the walls, clearly there was a leak from a bathroom above. At least we were on an edge with the balcony, some rooms with an inward facing balcony were very close together!
We didn't try the spa or entertainment but I had nothing against either. The pool area was fine and the hotel lobby roomy and comfy to chill in. Overall been in better hotels but also been in a lot worse.More
