If you go past the caravan entrance of S´Abba Druche and continue to drive for 1 km you´ll find a markt car parking on your left. At the north end of the parking there is a path leading down to a beautiful small sand/stone beach. It is situated in a small bay covered from the wind, so no waves. The bottom is sandy and the entrance to the sea is easy. There are also small caves so you can find shade if you need. The parking is free and the walk downhill takes 10 minutes.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to spend either a whole day, or just a short time. We visited the town of Bosa, which is charming in itself. We witnessed a religious parade through the streets, which was a moving experience with locals of all ages taking part, some in traditional Sardinian dress, I'm not sure which Saint was being portrayed, but the atmosphere was sombre but also enlightening, with these devoted people earning dignity and respect from onlookers. Before and after the parade, we sat in the town square watching the local children playing happily along side older generations, chatting and enjoying their beer or coffee, I think we were probably the only 'foriegners' there. Wonderful! Oh, and an amazing variety of ice-cream flavours.. yummy!

The weather was too cold to swim or sunbathe in April but the cleanliness of the water and the lovely sandy beach was apparent. Pity it wasn't Summer I'd be in like a shot!

This is an amazing place - beautiful shoreline, archaeological sites, seasonal river, campsite - all set in 25 miles of protected coastline. It is a mix of sandy beach (but not much) and rocky grottoes and turquoise water. I have been here many times and I love it. About 4 miles north of Bosa on the coast road to Alghero. Bosa itself is a magical town - it has a very 'healing' atmosphere. Good for relaxation but also stimulating and exciting.
