“Absolutely lovely house in an amazing location! Perfect!”
Reviewed 23 July 2012 for a stay in June 2012

The house is so lovely, in a great location very close to many lovely restaurant right in the centre of the charming town. The house is very well equipped with everything you could need for a perfect holiday including beach inflatables! Also we did not have a car but it was no hassle there was plenty to do and explore within walking distances including the castle which had amazing views and wonderful boat trips from the river, there is also a train that runs to the beach - bosa marina at very convenient times for only 2 euros each, although it is not too far to walk about 20mins, through the lovely harbour. Also all the locals were very friendly and were very helpful as were the owners of the house who could not of been more helpful and provided us with lots of very useful information for our holiday. Overall we had an amazing holiday and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quite but plenty of atmosphere and activities to enjoy, virtually tourist free, beautiful and cultured location.

“The way to recharge in a stunning location”
Reviewed 13 May 2012 for a stay in May 2012

If you want a lovely relaxing holiday, in a charming old town, very close to a beautiful coast and surrounded by stunning and dramatic countryside, then Dommu Asuletta in lovely old Bosa, Sardinia, will fulfil this need. The house is charming - tall and narrow, so we got fit without leaving, and hours simply passed by on the wonderful south and west facing terrace, looking across the terracotta roofs to the hills beyond. We cooked delicious local produce after an aperitivo either on the said terrace or in the lovely old square, 2 minutes from the house. You definitely need a car to explore the steep and dramatic landscape and to discover the more tucked away beaches - in early May we tended to share the beaches with the seagulls and maybe a couple of locals. The Spring flowers were abundant in the hedgerows so I would defintely recommend this time of year, even though it could be a bit chilly at night. We have returned to our jobs full of energy and vitality after such a relaxing week in the well-equipped Dommu Asuletta.

It's a great idea to hire a car to explore the surroundings. There is so much to see and do on the island! However, we often visit and use the excellent bus service to get around instead. It just depends on how chilled and adventurous you want to be.

BTW, thanks for this review and for being such a great guest – you are welcome back anytime. We will be happy to offer you a good price to stay next time as a repeat visitor to Dommu Asuletta!

Take care and see you soon.
